Become part of a great team!We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee our regional (Europe/Middle East/Africa) Accounting team, ensuring smooth daily operations and the accurate preparation of financial statements. This role involves supervising and mentoring staff, fostering a collaborative environment, and maintaining robust financial procedures. In this role you will report to Global Lead Accounting of the TecAlliance Group and ensure that the region communicates financial results clearly and accurately to the parent company and other stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: Lead the regional Accounting team.Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.Ensure that the financial statements of the region are produced and managed in a timely fashion.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant GAAP (HGB).Monitor liquidity development in the region (including DSO) and identify expected liquidity shortfalls.Ensure proper cost bookings and that revenues are taken in line with TecAlliance Revenue Recognition policies.Act as the point of contact for local banks and coordinate all banking matters.Collaborate with Global Leads to ensure compliance with TecAlliance's financial procedures and policies.Coordinate and lead the external audit process, ensuring timely and accurate closure.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional finance qualification is a plus.5+ years of proven experience as a Finance or Accounting Manager in a multinational company, with experience in leading an international team.In-depth knowledge of local accounting principles in the region, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in financial management software, bookkeeping software and Microsoft Office suite.Fluency in English; German language highly beneficial (written and spoken).Benefits: Contract title: your position is part of our job profile "Accountant Lead EMEA (m/f/d)".
