WebBeds is the world's fastest growing provider of accommodation distribution services to the travel industry.

We have a very strong technical team from which you will be able to learn,but are encouraged by new ideas and fresh thinking that you will bring with you.Objectives of this role- Develop and maintain data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume complexity.- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools and increase data accessibility.- Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on its work.- Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.- Define company data assets (data models) for S3, Athena, relational databases, and similar technologies in public cloud infrastructure.- Design data integrations data quality framework.- Work closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop strategy for long-term data platform architecture.The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!- Software engineering background with 2+ years experience as a Data Engineer.- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline.- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.- Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.- A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.- Experience within cloud environments.- Attention to detail with robust analytical skills.- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Time management and organizational skills.Why choose us as your next destination?
