For the Barcelona office, we are looking for a Sales Manager who can maximize bookings from requests received through our website.
Tasks and BackgroundThe desired profile has completed a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and has at least 3+ years of demonstrable work experience at a travel organization, Tour Operator, or DMC.Fluent in Dutch and English.RequirementsSkillsWe are looking for a great communicator, someone assertive who wants to build long-term relationships.You have a good geographic awareness about distances, logical routes, and are analytic in mapping. In other words: you are a fan of Google Maps and love geography.You have traveled extensively in your free time or during work and know Portugal, Andalusia, and Morocco.You like to advise people on the perfect trip and have a naturally curious interest in destinations and experiences.You have worked in a commercial job (not necessarily cold-calling) in which you understand the concept of sales funnels and sales processes.You are proactive and think ahead about how to guide your clients to the next step in the process towards a booking.You are creative and a good problem-solver to avoid obstacles in the sales process.You like to obtain goals and are result-driven.You are good with numbers to ensure the price calculations you make for clients are correct.You are excellent in time management and are able to prioritize and internalize coordination.Account Management skills.You are comfortable working efficiently with systems such as a CRM, Excel, etc.BenefitsWhat do we offer you?
We offer both Dutch and Spanish contracts, depending on your personal situation, with a yearly contract renewed into an indefinite contract.The job is for 40 hours a week, full-time at the office.26 days off.Laptop and phone provided.LanguagesNative Dutch and fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
Working Hours40 hours per week. (Busy periods may require 1 hour more, maximum; overtime is not paid.)
Monday to Friday between 8:00 - 18:00. Occasionally, travel might be required (inspection trips or as a project responsible together with the customer) also during weekends. These days are compensated in paid time off.
Contract: Indefinite contract with a 3-month probationary period (as per Spanish law).
