We are looking for an engineer to contribute to the development and creation of technical specifications and supplier homologation for repairs and refurbishments of electrical and electronic components.
You will become part of a dedicated Repair Engineering team supporting the operational part of our business.
The team is newly created and will be closely cooperating with the Service department, the Global Overhaul Solutions department, and the Regions.
Tasks: Development and creation of repair/refurbishment technical specifications and Test Specifications for electrical and electronic components: motors, sensors, PLC/control devices, electronic cards... Screen and validate new repair solutions.
Identify potential opportunities for reducing inventory for minor electrical and electronic components through technical assessment.
Work closely together with other global service departments to align on priorities.
Support the quality team during the qualification process of new workshops worldwide.
What you need to make a difference: Broad and practical experience in engineering.
Dynamic, autonomous, proactive, and customer-oriented (internal or external).
Collaboration with international teams and working in different company cultures are crucial in this position.
Advanced English skills are required (both written and spoken) for the purpose of reporting, engineering statements, and meetings in our international environment.
At least 40 travel days a year should be expected since you will be needed to visit suppliers, workshops, factories, or sites.
