At Ad4Octogono, we are looking for a Java Software Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join a Digital Team in Madrid that works together on an International Project.This is your chance.WE OFFER:Be part of a professional and dynamic environment.Opportunities for growth and professional development.Full Remote.Competitive salary and additional benefits.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / ROLE:Being an important part of the team as an Engineer as we strategically land our Document Management blueprint.Delivering high quality products and services aligned to the Bank's business and technical architecture strategies in collaboration with technical and business teams.Providing maintenance of services – evolving the software versions and infrastructure, identifying, preventing, and resolving incidents, managing obsolescence and automated monitoring solutions for your portfolio of services.Reporting to a Software Engineering Manager and interacting with a Product Owner and business stakeholders, providing timely estimates for changes.Ensuring software engineers build agreed solutions, rigorously test them, and implement them to the highest standards while adhering to the Bank's methodology driven Scrum practices.Delivering 5x9's product availability as the default for all critical Document Management services and providing out of hours support on a rota basis.Requirements:MANDATORY SKILLS:Demonstrable experience as a Back end or Software Developer and experience in Software Engineering, in Application Development using the most recent versions of Java (8 onwards) and Spring Boot.Understanding of microservice-oriented Architecture running on PaaS infrastructure, Event-Driven Architecture, RESTful API architecture patterns, etc.Broad experience of agile software development practices (Unit testing, Test Driven Development, or CI/CD).Experience using GitHub, Jira, Jenkins during the development lifecycle as well as using automated tools to evaluate robustness, quality, and vulnerabilities of the code developed.Previous experience of supporting Production-related incidents until resolution.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:Experience with SQL (Oracle, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB).Experience working with Angular.Experience with Kafka, S3.Exposure to DevOps ecosystem and automation tools to follow Continuous Integration lifecycle.Previous experience in Document Management domains.QUALITIES:Team player.Energetic, motivated, and determined.Pragmatic and results-oriented.Adaptable to a diverse set of technical responsibilities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Productive and able to manage time effectively.#J-18808-Ljbffr
