Job Description: For our Energy business unit, we are looking for a Lawyer who will join the Legal Department, reporting to the Head of Corporate Legal Affairs. The position is located in Madrid. Duties and Responsibilities: Support all corporate aspects and handle secretariat and corporate compliance of all legal entities of the business unit (direct corporate housekeeping of Spanish legal entities; and supervision for those abroad). Be involved in compliance policy implementation and overlook good governance practices, including SCIFF and Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Actively participate in supporting projects of all kinds with a focus on corporate aspects, such as Joint Venture Agreements, Joint Bidding Agreements, etc., either directly or interacting with local law firms. Draft and review agreements and contracts of different nature, mainly services agreements and intercompany finance facilities, as well as supporting the business in their day-to-day legal corporate or contractual inquiries. Perform legal analysis of investment, divestment, or bid proposals so that they are presented in accordance with internal regulations, drafting the corresponding legal report analyzing risks with the aim of providing information and recommendations for proper decision-making. Be responsible for the incorporation of new companies, instrumenting capital increases/reductions, and other corporate operations, as well as any restructuring or reorganization that may arise. Be responsible for the granting and proper follow-up of PoA's. Provide legal support to other departments of the business unit, solving their doubts and detecting and dealing with risks, with the aim of assuring that the interests of Ferrovial are optimally defended. Support trademarks and other IP rights, in coordination with external specialized advisors. Education and Experience: University degree in Law. Bilingual/Native level of English. Previous experience with Anglo-Saxon law system. 4+ years of experience in a first-tier law firm or as an in-house lawyer to a multinational firm. Experience mainly in corporate and civil law as well as corporate housekeeping functions. Professional Qualities: Effectively manage tasks and deadlines independently, in an orderly and meticulous manner. Ability to interact with colleagues in a self-managed team structure.
