Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability Eager to learn, and able to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills Strongly data-driven, big data, BI, AI, ML Industrial Automation knowledge (PLC Programming, electrical drawings etc.) Job Summary The EURME Central AE Team is responsible for developing, building, maintaining, and executing Automation programs of work across the EU and APAC Customer Fulfillment Network delivering to our customers in EURME Field Teams. The team is expanding and looking for Automation Engineers/Computer Science to join the team.
You will: Work with the team to help solve business problems. Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security. Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables. Write high-quality distributed system software. Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff. Build automation to create services using AWS products and internal tools. Continuously strive for operational excellence by seeking to automate away manual processes. Ensure that all systems are designed to be robust, scalable, maintainable, and adaptable as the service scales and evolves over time. Uphold a high standard of code quality and engineering excellence. Establish the processes to create and manage automation-related documentation (SOP's, user manuals, technical bulletins, drawings etc.) Define the standards about how information should be managed to be effective and traceable (Change management, Trouble tickets, etc.) Detect opportunities connecting data and use the information to build Audits (backups missing, drawings missing, PLC's healthy CPU/RAM, firmware outdated etc.) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of Industrial Internet of Things (MQTT, Pub/Sub) and core Industrial Control Technologies (ProfiNet, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA, TCP/IP), sockets communication Experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, s3, CDK, CloudFormation, RDS, System Manager. Experience with Web Development (intermediate in NodeJS, TypeScript, backend frameworks, Frontend with ReactJS)
