Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SIGONELLA, Rota, Spain; serving to perform Integrated Logistics Support to ships.
Responsibilities: You will advise employees on logistics program goals and objectives.
You will explain the execution of acquisition planning or logistics tasks in support of assigned programs.
You will develop integrated logistical support (ILS) plans for an organization.
You will resolve integrated logistical support (ILS) problems by developing new approaches and procedures.
Requirements: Conditions of Employment: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience may include: Independently analyzing difficult problems and resolving issues involving supply chain management, material acquisition, supply requisition procedures, and manpower management configuration data management.
Analyzing inventory management, warehousing, transportation, procurement, provisioning, and technical documents to promote the effectiveness of the delivery of services for logistics operations.
Providing assistance and guidance directly to fleet units and subordinates to provide technical answers to maintain readiness for all supported ships.
Coordinating the services offered by Port Operations and logistics to support ship visits.

This may require walking, bending, and climbing during visits to various Navy and commercial installations.
Work Environment: Work is normally performed in an adequately lighted and ventilated office environment, but may require occasional work in warehouses, aboard ship, or industrial spaces.
