The hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate and is currently undergoing restoration and renovation, scheduled to open as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.Shift Engineer - Four Seasons Hotel Mallorca at Formentor, Spain We currently have an opportunity for a Shift Engineer to join our pre-opening Four Seasons Hotel Mallorca at Formentor, Spain! Reporting into our Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for diagnosing and providing service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, ground care, parking areas, and fire and safety.Responsibilities:Implementing and handling preventative maintenance of all equipment.Diagnosing and handling repairs of equipment.Responding to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public areas.Responding to emergency maintenance conditions.Installing or relocating electrical and mechanical systems when necessary.Assisting with the hotel energy conservation programs.Our Ideal Shift Engineer candidate will have:Repair and Maintenance experience in a hotel/resort environment and expert technical knowledge of general building maintenance and environmental standards.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.High level of integrity and transparency.Strong technical expertise, an eye for detail, and a passion for service.Fluency in Spanish and English is a must for this location, along with eligibility to work in Mallorca.Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts can offer what many hospitality professionals dream of; the opportunity to build a life-long career with global potential and a real sense of pride in work well done.
