Lr-677 - Senior Accounting P/R (M/F/D)

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of the general accounting.Resident expert on the AP and AR systems.Provides assistance and/or coaching to junior accountants.Completes complex reports in an accurate and timely manner according to business controls and generally accepted accounting principles.Researches and verifies discrepancies in a current and accurate manner.Prepare internal and external audit schedules and assist the auditors in their inquiries.Processes the accounting data used for drafting the balance sheet and accounting statements.Assists with month end close.Assist with implementation of accounting systems as necessary.Scope of Position: The position will include a wide range of difficult and complex problems.
Collaborates directly with other departments.
Work is assigned in terms of objectives.
Review of work results is based on objectives at predetermined milestones.
Work is more complex with difficult situations requiring investigation.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field required.Master's degree highly desired.5 plus years of experience.Experience in the automotive industry or related field preferred.Good Knowledge in SAP ERP System.Must have intermediate- to advanced-level software skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills required.Good English language skills (spoken and written).Proficiency level in Portuguese (spoken and written).CPA (OCC) or CMA a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
