Imagine the IT partnership opportunities you could bring!This role will provide the Project Management needed to drive the technology roadmap for S&G, focusing and enabling decision-making in the function that directly drives the success of Novartis through more effective product roadmaps, market analysis, as well as evaluation for acquisitions.Job DescriptionMajor accountabilities:Managing the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operations.Engage with global business leaders and leverage the appropriate IT teams and Functions to determine requirements and deliver IT solutions to improve efficiency and generate value.Delivering projects on time and within budget and to meet the desired business objectives.Establishing plan and initiating project mobilization by confirming project scope, estimate, resources, roles, and responsibilities.Ensuring appropriate use of project management methods and tools depending on the type of project (e.G.
Agile).Directing outputs of the project team, ensuring overall success of the project and effective use of resources.Monitoring and controlling execution of the project and establishing project governance, managing risks and issues.Ensuring project adherence with Data privacy, Security, and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope.
Have in-depth understanding of the validation procedures followed in a regulated environment.Engage with various user communities in the S&G space to identify high-priority subject areas.
Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects.Minimum Requirements:University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, Life Sciences or similar.A minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Program / Project Manager.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in working in the Pharma or IT Industry.Ability to understand and communicate with many different stakeholders, e.G., those in business, IT, and quality.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language).Knowledge of/exposure to Drug Research, Development, or Commercialization portfolios would be an advantage.Superior leadership, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, influencing, negotiation, problem-solving skills, and stakeholder management.Superior project and program management skills, including strong knowledge of and ability to apply various methodologies (e.G.
ICE, PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall, etc.
).Must bring hands-on experience on driving Agile delivery
