Nature and Purpose Responsible for analyzing and interpreting data and providing logistics information to aid cost effective, efficient, timely and high-quality logistics solutions. Often works closely with customer service and other stakeholders in the organization.
Responsibilities Management of freight forwarder
Cross-trade cargo management
Monitoring priorities along with Customer Service and sales, providing visibility of departures, delays and arrivals.
Logistics technical assistance: cubage, request for quotes, leadtime information, etc.
Coordination of EXW cargo collections.
Reception and response to emails from clients/transports, verification of availability of shipping space to avoid work overload, maintaining a constant and orderly flow to reduce errors, generation of all the necessary documentation by clients for the issuance of the loads.
Import documents: invoices, packing list and BL.
Preparation and review of transport documents: delivery notes, CMR, create documents for exportation and work with CS in the approval of the customer.
Recertification management + COA request/analysis.
Create PO in SAP.
Management and planning of air shipments based on emergencies.
Continuous improvement: Leadtime reduction, Reduction of logistics cost, Automation of daily processes in Excel and SAP, Perform root cause analysis.
Business fundamentals: Development and management of logistics suppliers and Assist the department in all necessary processes as required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience Essential Bachelor's degree in foreign Trade, Logistics or related field is required.
+3 years of professional work experience in logistics is required.
High level of English is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel is required.
Desirable Previous experience with SAP, Dynamics 365 or similar.
Flexibility and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary and intercultural teamwork.
