One of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the production and distribution of hospital and orthopaedic products is searching for a Procurement and Planning Manager.
You will be a key actor in optimising procurement activities for the manufacturing site in order to fulfil customer commitments and drive supply chain efficiency throughout the chain.
You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
You will work in an international and multicultural environment in multi-skilled teams and in a matrix-type organisation.
You will directly report to the Operations Director.
Your missions: Monthly development of a valid and optimised Procurement Plan proposalPreparation of appropriate presentation materials to enable effective review of the proposal via the supply review processDefine adequate planning & master data parameters (MOQ, Lead Times, order frequency)Inventory analysis, keeping an accurate record of the process and analysing performance providing opportunities to reduce costsAssure material availability on a weekly - monthly basisCreate and receive orders of materials and assist in resolution of delays or incorrect shipmentsUnderstand and evaluate the market disruptions for their responsible categoriesWeekly measurement of performance including on-time supply to planUse root cause analysis to identify systemic issues and lead resolution of the issuesParticipate in the integration of the warehouse management systemMaterial Master Data Manager Your professional profile: 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain in the pharmaceutical sector.Bachelor's degree in Engineering or PharmacyCPIM - APICS accreditationsWorking knowledge of site supply chain processes including demand management, S&OP, production planning, capacity planning, material planning and procurement, order fulfilment, master data and life cycle managementExperience working with SAP, APO or MRP tool is essential.High level of English, oral and writtenHigh level of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Your personal profile: Strong analytical mindsetNegotiation skillsAbility to develop user-friendly reportsProactive approach, ability to challenge current processes and come up with new ideasStrong problem-solving skills and positive attitude
