Location: Fully remote, EU timezone (CET +/- 2 hours)Languages: English is mandatory; French is a plusResponsibilities:Lead and oversee the engineering team in product development, from defining technical requirements to implementing the product roadmap and delivering solutions to the market efficiently.Collaborate closely with the product management team to ensure strategic and operational alignment between product development objectives and technical goals.Play a key role in strategically positioning our client's distributed cloud computing offerings and contributing to business modeling efforts.Mentor and develop technical and managerial skills within the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous innovation and technical excellence.Ensure disciplined agile project management, implementing best engineering practices and optimizing development processes for maximum efficiency.Collaborate with external partners in the Joint Development Program to co-create compelling cloud computing offerings, catering to a diverse range of clients from SMBs to corporates.Coordinate product delivery efforts with Marketing and Sales teams, ensuring smooth communication and shared understanding of goals.Act as the internal advocate for business customers, ensuring their needs and feedback are heard and addressed effectively.Promote the development of a vibrant developer ecosystem around computing technologies.Required Qualifications:Hands on experience using Golang.5-8 years of proven experience as an Engineering Manager, with significant experience in managing engineering teams in agile product development environments.Strong problem-solving, project management, and team leadership skills.Demonstrated experience in managing agile project development cycles with discipline.Experience in B2B sales of Software as a Service (SaaS) and technology solutions.Familiarity with compute-intensive workloads, such as AI inference and training, genAI, big data analytics, etc., is a significant plus.Strong analytical skills, with experience in using instrumentation and visualization tools.
