This position will also perform businessand systems analysis on the overall product delivery/supply chain process on behalf of our clients'customers; identify and recommend process changes, which facilitate freight savings; arrangeshipments of requested items, goods or merchandise; improve on-time delivery performance andenhance the overall experience for our clients customers.GENERAL RESPONSIBILTIESManage and coordinate domestic and international shipments on a daily basisEstablish and coordinate schedules with carriers and tender shipments; track and trace allshipments
- Update and maintain transportation management information; prepare and publish daily,weekly, and monthly reportsPrepare data and scorecard information on transportation performance trendsAnswer and resolve logistics-related billing questions as requiredEvaluate shipments, consolidate loads, and select the most cost-effective method of deliveryAnalyze transportation lanes to select the most appropriate modeManage carriers, including price matrix reportingCreate and coordinate country-specific, import/export documentationCommunicate with customers on a daily basis regarding logistics-related issues while providing prompt service within a 24-hour turnaround periodPerform freight invoice auditing; prepare internal freight quotes; manage freight invoice processEstablish and maintain freight forwarder relationsUpdate and create CI/PL/customs documentationProcess daily outbound FedEx and UPS package shipments as neededMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Business or a Supply Chain related degree preferred3 years of experience in Logistics Coordination, International Freight, 3PL coordination, etc
