Your keen eye for detail and adeptness at managing complex situations with multiple moving parts will be instrumental in driving our projects' success. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to swiftly adapt to evolving project requirements.Our overarching objectives revolve around optimizing operational efficiency, nurturing strong partnerships with suppliers, distributors, and vendors, and ensuring utmost satisfaction for our valued customers.Role ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee all logistics activities for onsite projects.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to identify logistics requirements and develop strategies to meet project objectives.Manage the procurement process for materials needed for projects, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and placing orders.Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of materials to the project site and resolve any issues or delays as needed.Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipping schedules, and procurement transactions.Manage budgets, expenses, and procurement transactions to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to budgetary constraints.Utilize tracking systems to monitor inventory levels, shipment statuses, and financial performance, providing regular updates and reports to relevant stakeholders.Prepare and maintain reports, documentation, and other records related to logistics activities for the onsite projects.Identify and mitigate risks to ensure seamless execution of operational activities.Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.Required skillsStrong communication skills: Effective verbal and written communication to liaise with stakeholders and convey logistics requirements.Excellent organizational capacity: Proven ability to organize logistics operations, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills – ability to interact with all stakeholders.Problem-solving skills – effective analysis and creative solutions for any problems that might arise.Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills – ability to analyze a situation and plan and implement a solution.Attention to detail: Keen focus on accuracy in managing logistics documentation and verifying shipment contents.Time management and prioritization: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and optimize workflow efficiency.A sense of urgency and the ability to work successfully under pressure.Required experience and qualificationsMinimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a relevant field.3+ years' relevant experience or experience in other roles with similar responsibilities.Ability to apply technology in solving technical business problems.Business English language proficiency.Logistics management experience.Desired skills and experienceProficiency in logistics software and tracking systems.Previous experience in inventory management and procurement.Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and optimizing logistics processes.Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
