We currently operate over 300 funeral locations, 17 cemeteries, and 29 crematoria throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, and we are growing.We currently require a Logistics & Coordination Manager in our shared service operations centre. In this role, you will lead and coach the coordination and logistics teams to create and drive excellence in booking, scheduling, and resource allocation.This role will require a flexible and proactive approach to identify and work collaboratively on solutions that ensure effective coordination, allocation, resourcing, and bookings to support our Arranger Conductors in driving quality outcomes for families.As the Coordination and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for:Oversee the coordination of people, equipment, and resources to ensure they are in line with designated brand standards.Manage the allocation of resources for Arrangers and families by ensuring the effective allocation of staff, vehicles, facilities, and administration in accordance with InvoCare policies, procedures, and quality standards.Provide exceptional customer service with external and internal customers to support outcomes by responding flexibly to match client needs and special requests with available resources to carry out service innovations as instructed by customers.Managing legal and administrative documents, including daily work schedules and funeral paperwork in accordance with InvoCare policies and procedures.Respond appropriately to requests, concerns, complaints, and unforeseen circumstances.Coach team members in process and procedure and facilitate change management during technology or process transitions.About you:Strong background and experience in logistics, resource allocation, and coordination of resources to optimize bookings and service outcomes.Previous experience working with Oracle and cloud-based rostering systems.Experience in a service-driven organisation.Intermediate skills in all Microsoft Office products and internal programs.Effectively manage time, prioritise work, multi-task, and delegate as required.Ability to analyse, multi-task, and manage various resourcing elements and logistical procedures simultaneously.Current unrestricted driver's license.Be at ease with death, the expression of grief, and handling deceased people.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Leadership, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Understand all coordination, transfer, funeral, and resourcing functions.Benefits of joining InvoCare:You may not have considered this industry before, but we provide vital services to families to assist them in celebrating the lives of their loved ones in a way that they would have wanted.
