Logistics AssistantJob DescriptionInventory management & stock control: Re-orders materials and/or equipment where needed, registers these in the relevant databases/systems, provides input on performance of suppliers, and manages and maintains materials, tools, and/or equipment in stock to ensure optimal availability for both production and delivery.
Inbound goods and storing: Coordinates the intake of incoming materials and/or equipment, checks and registers for quantity, damages, and completeness, and organizes unloading and storage. Ensures that all materials and/or equipment are ready for efficient distribution to internal customers.
Order handling: Receives and processes orders from customers, selects, checks, packs, and distributes the required materials and/or equipment to ensure efficient and timely delivery.
Outbound goods and transport planning scheduling: Ensures that goods and materials are transport-ready, including dispatch papers and accompanying documents for drivers. Supports routing and scheduling of vehicles based on customer requests.
Systems and Administration: Executes the administrative intake and distribution of materials and/or equipment in relevant systems, ensuring that order handling, quotations, and maintenance of master data are in line with the set standards.
Customer satisfaction: Manages customer relationships and ensures that all customer requests are handled appropriately to maintain confidence and satisfaction.
Continuous improvement: Monitors and evaluates internal and external logistics processes and initiates changes to achieve continuous optimization.
Compliance: Ensures compliance with all operating, safety, quality, risk, and health regulations.Other duties: May perform a wide range of other warehouse/logistics support and administrative tasks as assigned.
