A better future?We're Lear For You.Responsibilities:View and analyze weekly transport KPIs, deliveries to ensure material delivery when needed to avoid line downtime or additional costsCollaborate with plants and central team to optimize supply strategy (creating shipping orders, premium costs, package sizes, customs issues, etc.)Support and maintain up-to-date vendor parameters in internal tools and monitor internal processesSourcing transportation needs for the plants under your scope, securing the best option in terms of cost and reliability within our approved carrier poolPerformance review of existing carriers and support with onboarding of new onesAct as the plants' escalation point for operational issuesIdentify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement departmentRequirements:Business or engineering background with specialization in Logistics or Supply Chain preferredFluent in English; additional languages are a plusStrong team player with problem-solving skills and resilienceExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to coordinate and work with remote teamsProficient in analyzing procurement data to identify trends, assess supplier performance, and optimize purchasing strategiesExperience in contract management and ensuring complianceAbility to build and maintain strong supplier relationshipsProven track record in achieving cost savings through strategic sourcing#J-18808-Ljbffr
