We are looking for a Logistic Area Manager (Afternoon shift) to join our Distribution Center.
The role is based in Getafe.
Mission: To ensure the optimal functioning of the operations of its logistics area/process in LOEWE's distribution centre, leading the team of Logistics Operators in charge, in accordance with the Company's procedures and rules, to guarantee the fulfilment of the productivity, quality, cost and deadlines objectives.
Key Functions: To foresee and anticipate the expected work volumes in their area, together with the Planning & Inventory Department Manager, and to meet the productivity targets set.
Establish and formalise the procedures in their area of responsibility in the form of best practices from a perspective of continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with these and always thinking of the best product availability for our client.
Establish and communicate the material and human needs to be able to guarantee the service.
Guarantee the economic commitment of your area, contributing to the good result of the distribution centre (cost/item dispatched).
Monitor, analyse and communicate the KPIs of your area with the required frequency and draw up action plans for improvement.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement in your team where the team contributes ideas, makes decisions and implements the necessary changes to make the assigned process more productive and efficient.
Follow up individually the performance of each person in your team with the tools available.
Conduct the annual development interview.
Work on the team's professional projects together with the HR Department and the Logistics Management, collaborating in the detection of training and development needs.
Develop an open, attractive culture and a healthy working environment in the team, where everyone feels that they participate in the successes, establishing collective management routines (communicating strategies, priorities, seasonal balance, celebrating successes, etc.).
Maintain a permanent coordination with the rest of the Logistics Area Managers of the distribution centre and establish and maintain the relationship with external stakeholders.
Promote a culture of health and safety by being exemplary in complying with the rules established in the company in terms of Health & Safety.
Profile: Logistic vocational training or University degree.
Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics operations and managing teams as shift leader/area manager/shift manager or similar.
English B2 level.
Availability to work in the afternoon shift.
