They will be comfortable in finding solutions to make the best use of the technical tooling. They will be comfortable working in an international, fast-paced environment, where change and ambiguity are present as we constantly grow, improve and innovate.Note that this is a Project Manager role (operational), not a linguistic role.Key job responsibilities- Manage localization projects end-to-end, working closely with language specialists, internal business partners, external vendors and other departments- Manage and drive improvement of customer-facing quotation workflows- Develop customer-based project plans and workflows; manage time, budget, and resources- Set up projects in proprietary TMS/CAT tool, resolve TMS/CAT-tool related client and vendor issues and address knowledge gaps- Identify, communicate, and proactively mitigate project risks- Conduct post-mortem meetings and document project learnings- Write, edit, review and maintain localization process document- Create and analyze reports of localization data, to identify patterns and derive insights through large volumes of data around volume, quality, cost, turnaround time and productivityAbout the teamBeing part of Translation Services Operations, the Service Delivery team drives the forefront of client-facing interactions with existing internal business partners that receive direct localization services from TS Ops, offering end-to-end project management service that includes project scoping, budget discussion & pricing offers, jobs assignment & delivery, client satisfaction and process improvements.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Barcelona, ESPBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in program or project management- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
