They will ensure localisation of all content (web, app, marketing, legal…) from Spanish and English into Dutch, so that it resonates with target audiences in the Netherlands and is linguistically, culturally, and functionally engaging.This entails in-house translations/localisation, proofreading translated content, performing quality checks and linguistic testing, and providing continuous feedback to external language service providers as part of ongoing quality control.In addition to the linguistic component of the role, the successful candidate will help manage Openbank's website and digital platforms in their respective languages, working with a Content Management System (CMS) and other tools to create, upload, and review digital content.The successful candidate will work closely with other non-linguistic in-house teams and manage incoming demands autonomously. They must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing tight deadlines, both independently and in conjunction with vendors. The ability to seamlessly work with both technical and non-technical profiles and a desire to learn new tools, processes and concepts are essential for this position.The main tasks of this position will be the following:Ensure translation and localisation of complex projects, working closely with vendors and other in-house-departments.Manage day-to-day interactions with language service providers, ensuring quality levels and project deadlines.Manage linguistic resources: style guide, glossaries, translation memories, etc.Create and upload content to digital platforms using the Content Management System (CMS) and other tools.Test Openbank's websites and apps for linguistic quality and identify and solve localisation issues.To be successful in the role you must haveBachelor's Degree in Translation/Localisation/Applied LinguisticsNative speakers of Dutch, as well as full professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
