Description Scopely is looking for a Producer - Localisation to join our Star Trek Fleet Command game in Ireland, Spain, Portugal or the UK on a hybrid or remote basis.At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play, every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues, or through our deep connections with our communities of players.We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.Star Trek Fleet Command's ongoing success goes from strength to strength.Our in-house developed 4X MMO was launched in 2018 and continues to evolve, being consistently one of the top 10 gross revenue Massive Multiplayer Strategy games on the market.What You Will DoThis role will drive quality and efficiency in localised game updates, acting as a central liaison between development, live operations, and global localisation partners across Dublin, Barcelona, and LA.Representing international players within the development team, you'll ensure their experiences are prioritized.Responsibilities include reporting progress, identifying risks, and tracking localisation quality.Ideal candidates will have a background in localisation and outsourcing, with strong communication and stakeholder skills.Reporting to the Senior Producer, you'll work closely with the release team to ensure seamless collaboration and deliver an exceptional player experience worldwide.Be heavily involved in pre-production and production so as to identify and map our localisation needsEnsure that our DEV practices incorporate internationalization and global mindset as part of the core planningClearly communicate the goals of your projects to leaders to achieve constant partner alignment across the organizationManage localization efforts in a multidisciplinary team through all stages of development lifecycle and through live productionManage external Localization vendors, improve processes, manage expectations and keep a constant close eye on quality outputEvaluate the overall localization process and quality in order to draw lessons learned and identify areas of improvement.Maintain terminology list, deal with translator's queries and maintain an up to date translation memoryBuild positive relationships with developers and regional teamsIdentify/assess risks and strategies to mitigate and escalate as necessary to all relevant partnersWhat We're Looking ForExperience as a dedicated localization producer or project manager in a gaming studio or a globally shipped entertainment or technical productExperience working with JIRAExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience planning, managing, and delivering projects as part of wider initiativesExcellent time-management skills with demonstrated ability to work independently Experienced in working with multicultural, globally distributed teams on projects and processesSolutions oriented and committed to fixing not only issues internally but with the vendors as wellClearly demonstrate best practices in LQA testing and how to be efficient with a mixed language teamHave a service attitude focused on facilitating teams to deliver amazing productsBonus Points To be a gamer and passionate about gamesExperience of managing localisation on a large live operating title across multiple regionsSolid understanding of Agile and its standard practicesFluent in a language other than English
