What the role is about, and why we need you
As Loan Servicing and Recovery Executive at Boopos, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and financial health of our acquisition loans. The scope of the role encompass the following responsibilities:
Maintain and keep the loan book updated
Report and control the loan book and borrowing base to the finance department and external base
Work with the financial department to ensure compliance with accounting and tax policies
Work with the credit department and legal department to ensure ongoing compliance with internal credit policies
Maintain and upgrade collection infrastructure
Generate payment notices, and carry out the successful collection of payments
Recover delinquent and defaulted payments
Optimize processes, scope tool improvements and provide analytics and recommendations
We need someone who is analytical, process-oriented, and a self-starter with strong people skills to navigate these challenging situations effectively. This role requires someone who can work autonomously (it's a stand-alone role), reporting directly to the C-level.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a structured mindset and a strong analytical skill set. You should be adept at managing processes independently and possess the resilience to handle difficult conversations with clients. Your ability to think on your feet and provide solutions will be crucial in maintaining our loan portfolio's health and integrity.

Expertise you need to have
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with focus on loan servicing and recovery.
Proven track record of managing distressed loans and improving recovery rates is highly desirable
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel is required.
High level of English (all communications are done in that language due to our clients being located in the US)
Financial acumen, with a good understanding of loans, their workings, and the ability to run numbers.
Excellent people skills and the ability to handle difficult client interactions with professionalism.
Self-motivated and able to work independently without close management.
Process-oriented with structured thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of SAP, Python or Zapier is a plus.
