Responsibilities Loads generation from dynamic response for the entire air vehicle Design and lead execution of ground vibration and ground resonance testing Design and lead execution of all loads and dynamics modeling including definition of additions to GNC model Analysis of surface flutter, backup stiffness for actuation elements Analysis of aircraft flutter and control speeds Analysis and design support for active/passive gust load alleviation methods Analysis and design of all dynamic simulation elements Analysis of mass movement on flutter, fatigue spectrum, and controllability Generation of analysis and reports required to achieve aircraft certification Landing gear dynamic analysis & load estimation Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 10 years of experience in ASE/FSI (Aeroservoelasticity / Fluid Structure Interaction) Knowledgeable in classical and computational ASE/FSI modeling and analysis methods Knowledgeable in Ground Vibration Testing, Ground Resonance Testing processes and post-test analysis and data reduction Knowledgeable in multiple flutter modes and prediction methods Knowledgeable in multiple modeling techniques such as classical, panel, vortex-lattice methods Understanding of reduced frequency and rational function approximations Knowledgeable in correct control power estimation both static (E2R) and frequency dependent Experience in aircraft certification data and processes Awareness of Guidance Navigation and Control needs/methods Familiar with best practice revision control processes Good technical writing in English Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Engineering Have worked with (at least considered in depth) consequences of first wing bending/torsion proximal to the short period Experience/Familiarity with passive and active gust load alleviation methods/trade-offs/drivers Experience with unmanned systems (Navigators & Guidance Navigation and Control) Performs tasks programmatically (Less Excel, more MatLab/Python etc.)
