Llp - Freight Bill & Audit Specialist

FBA Assistant (Freight-Bill-Audit & Payment) Job description: The FBA&P Assistant is responsible for coordinating and preparing freight billing data while ensuring all documentation is processed and completed on time and accurately.
This role has direct contact with the suppliers and is required to deliver excellent customer service both to the internal and external customers of the FBA&P department.
Main responsibilities: Ensuring all costs received and processed in a timely manner on behalf of the customer.Processing invoices in the week they are received so that the charges can be billed out to customers and that the contract remains cash neutral.Supporting the FBA&P Assistant Finance Manager in building analysis and reports including customer recharge.Proactively resolving queries on site with other departments in a timely manner (clearing invoice rejections, reconciling statements on a monthly basis).Ownership of rejection log and dashboard to display position of the department.Reconciliation of carrier statements.Providing analysis and data to the FBA&P Assistant Finance Manager.Coaching other departments for process resolution.Requirements for the Job: Mandatory: Fluent English.Operations background preferable.
Strong operational skillset.
Finance background would be beneficial.Knowledge of rates, currencies, and modes of transport: Multi-country operation.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel including pivots.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work to strict deadlines.Comfortable working with multi-currency.Desirable: Familiarity with supply chain and logistics functions.Awareness of a variety of VAT types.
