The Role
Do you want to be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions? Within our Network Services team at Kyndryl, you will be the go-to expert for providing top-of-the-line technical solutions throughout the entire solution lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating local and wide-area network solutions that utilize multiple platforms and protocols, ensuring that our customers have the best possible network infrastructure to support their business needs.
Your skills in routers, networking controllers, bridges, and networking software will be essential as you troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors to install the latest hardware and software, such as routers and switches. Not only will you help keep our customer's networks running smoothly, but you will also work on project implementation, conduct project planning and cost analysis, and build proof-of-concept solutions with networking system technology.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to review project requirements, communicate them accurately to the team, and ensure they are appropriately fulfilled. You will use your expertise to design and implement local and wide-area network solutions, including IP and VOIP, that address customer requirements. You will also provide high-quality technical solutions to our customers to prepare them for implementation, go-live, and maintenance.

Who You Are
Senior Network Administrator
Overview: A Senior Network Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a company's network infrastructure. They ensure that the network operates efficiently and securely, and they provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
Responsibilities: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs)Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurationsMonitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknessesCollaborate with other IT personnel to resolve network issues and provide technical supportImplement security measures and protocols to protect the network from cyber threatsMaintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting proceduresLead and mentor junior network administrators, providing guidance and technical expertiseQualifications: Extensive knowledge of network protocols: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.Advanced network security: Experience with implementing advanced security measures, managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNsProficiency with monitoring and analysis tools: Skilled in using Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTGStrong problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficientlyFamiliarity with key manufacturers: Experience with equipment from A10 Networks, Arista Networks, Aruba, Avocent, Brocade, Cisco, Citrix, F5 Networks, Fortinet, Huawei, Juniper, Radware, SonicWallStrong leadership skills: Capable of leading projects and providing mentorship to junior team membersExcellent communication skills: Ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholdersExperience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network administration
- Proven experience in a senior role managing complex network environments
