Role Overview As a Pre-Sales Consultant focusing on Network and Internet of Things at Drees & Sommer, you're not just part of the team; you're at the heart of innovation. Your role is pivotal: you bridge the gap between potential and actuality, between our sales force and our customers.
Your Tasks Manage the entire sales pre-cycle from qualification to implementation team handover.
Support and maintain the pre-sales process throughout the sales cycle.
Facilitate scoping meetings to understand the prospect's business challenges.
Identify necessary internal resources to ensure success.
Develop a value-based approach to address the prospect's business issues.
Collaborate with the sales team to define the scope of proposed solutions and deliverables.
Optimize proposed solutions to enhance implementation team success and meet prospect requirements.
Create customer-facing documentation, presentations, and proposals in collaboration with sales and marketing.
Provide input on value-based ROI proposals.
Technical Proficiency IoT Platform Proficiency: Extensive work with platforms like Sierra Wireless, PTC, and Cisco. Crafted proposals enabling businesses to connect, manage, and analyze data from diverse devices and sensors.
Your Profile Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
Minimum 7 years overall experience in Implementation, Project Management, Operations, Sales, and/or Solutions role.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Management Consulting preferred.
Proven & verifiable track record of successful leadership.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A genuine team player and leader who complements the existing team while driving growth.
Strong communication skills, adaptable and able to deliver presentations credibly to a varied audience.
Willingness to travel as part of the role.
