In this role, you'll leverage user analytics, behavioral insights, and rigorous A/B testing to drive continuous revenue growth and enhance the user journey from a monetization perspective.
What you'll be doingExperimentation and A/B Testing: Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses around monetization strategies.Monetization Strategies: Identify, develop, and implement monetization opportunities—including in-app purchases, limited-time offers, subscription upsells, and advertising placements.Protocol Development: Establish and refine monetization protocols and best practices, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all apps through continuous experimentation.Event & Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize live events, promotions, and content updates across various apps to drive revenue.Data Analysis & Optimization: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor revenue performance, user spending behavior, and conversion metrics.User Segmentation: Develop and apply segmentation strategies to personalize offers and monetization events for different user groups.User Journey Optimization: Map and enhance the user journey from a monetization perspective.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to align monetization activities with app objectives.What you'll need to succeedExperience in Experimentation and A/B Testing: 3-5 years of experience in designing and running A/B tests and experiments related to monetization and user engagement.Experience in Gaming B2C Mobile Apps: 3+ years of experience in monetization strategies and experimentation for gaming or B2C mobile apps.Monetization Expertise: Proven expertise in applying monetization techniques and leveraging experimentation to drive revenue.Data Analysis & Statistical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with tools like SQL, Excel, and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).Understanding of Protocols: Ability to develop and implement monetization protocols and best practices.User Segmentation & Targeting: Experience in user segmentation.Copywriting and Messaging: Skill in crafting in-app messaging and promotional copy.Soft SkillsAnalytical and Critical Thinking: Strong ability to think analytically and critically.Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about monetization opportunities.Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills.Proactive & Self-Directed: A self-starter with the ability to independently drive monetization projects.Adaptability & Resilience: Demonstrated ability to handle setbacks.Organized & Systematic: Excellent organizational skills.Bonus pointsUser Research Skills: Ability to gather and interpret user feedback.Understanding of Subscription Models: Familiarity with subscription-based monetization.The interview processFirst round: Connect with our people team for a mutual introduction (30 minutes).Second round: Meet the Hiring Manager (1 hour).Final round: Live Challenge with our CEO and VP Product (1 hour).On average, our process takes about 4-6 weeks.
