Live-in Healthcare Assistants may also provide respite for customers who have been in hospital or deteriorated slightly and feel they need Live-In support for a short period until they recover.You will enjoy the special privilege of living in a customer's home, keeping them safe and comfortable. You will use your excellent communication skills to build unique relationships with people from all walks of life with different backgrounds and needs, lifestyles and personalities, and cultures.We provide full training, support and opportunities to our amazing Live-in Carers. The tasks a Live-in Carer will undertake:
Assisting customer with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, bathing and toileting.
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linen.
Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of customers.
Accompany customers to medical appointments, shopping trips etc.
Observe, monitor and record clients physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to the office.
Encourage customers to be independent.
Support with medication.
Assisting customers with meal preparation/fluids.
Support customers with social activities, also companionship.
