.Arsys is one of the 19 direct participants that Europe has selected to bring to life the IPCEI-CIS, which stands for Important Project of Common European Interest in Cloud Infrastructure Services.
This R&D initiative is key to the digital transformation and competitiveness of all European Union member countries.
You will work with experts from both Arsys and other organizations in a culture that values innovation, flexibility, initiative, and commitment.
The selected individual will receive comprehensive training and work closely with the latest technologies in the cloud market, allowing them to quickly enhance their professional value.
This is what we expect from you: You will participate in the design, deployment, and configuration of a new cloud and edge resource orchestration platform pioneering in Europe.
You will research new technologies and products, as well as different solutions and configurations focused on building a high-quality service that meets Arsys's high standards.
You will collaborate with other organizations from various European countries, participating in working groups, discussions, and technical sessions.
You will be involved in implementing the platform in Arsys' infrastructure, working closely with the teams managing Arsys services.
Minimum Requirements: Relevant experience of at least 5 years as a Systems Engineer/Administrator.
Technical degree (Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
or equivalent training.
Experience in system and network administration on different Linux systems (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky, Debian/Ubuntu, Alpine).
Experience with monitoring tools and event management (Nagios, Grafana, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch).
Experience in database administration (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), web servers (Apache Nginx/freeNginx), application servers (Apache Tomcat, Node.Js).
Advanced knowledge of virtualization (KVM, Proxmox, OpenShift) and LXC containers (Docker, LXD, OpenShift, Rancher, Kubernetes).
Advanced knowledge of physical server, network, and storage architecture.
Knowledge of automation systems (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform/OpenTofu, etc.).
Knowledge of hyperscale cloud environments, high availability, and replication.
Ability to communicate in English with our international teams.
