Lighting Artist - [E-224]

Job DescriptionThe lighting artist will work closely with the Art direction and art teams to provide lighting solutions for environments, characters, and other important assets. With a significant impact on performance and gameplay, the lighting artist will also be responsible for lighting optimizations and collaborating with level designers to ensure the best gameplay experience.Responsibilities:Create lighting for game environments in line with the company's quality and functionality requirements, while coordinating with art direction, art teams, and level design.Create lighting for menus and character showcases, as well as other important game assets.Proactively check environment art progression to identify areas that can benefit from lighting work and sync with artists.Place and maintain all technical lighting elements in the environments (e.g., probes).Be responsible for lighting optimization, defining alternatives that work on lower-end platforms when required, as well as bug fixing.Create the meshes and textures required to fulfill lighting needs.Proactively seek improvements in both workflow and techniques.
