MISION
In a moment of continuous transformation of the Health Industry, Innovative Solutions are key to foster a new way of adding value to the Health System, and therefore impacting patients' lives. AstraZeneca aims to implement Solutions to ensure sustainable healthcare pathway transformation, accelerating the diagnosis of pathologies, accelerating the derivation from GP to specialists and ensuring adherence to treatments. Practice Change Platform methodology is key in the identification of HC system needs and opportunities, and therefore a critical input for the design of innovative solutions.
This role will support both the delivery of Practice Change Platform projects and the implementation in field of Innovative solutions related to AZ products/indications on a non-commercialisation phase, identifying opportunities in the area under his/her scope, as well as being accountable for the implementation and/or scale-up of those Solutions designed and piloted within the HC Innovation Unit.
RESPONSIBILITIESKey AreasPractice Change: Identification of HC system needs and opportunitiesComprehensive understanding of the HC System Pathways of the pathologies under scope, aligned with Practice Change Methodology.Active mapping of initiatives and insights from the Healthcare System that can contribute to the improvement of Care Processes. Proactively drive and/or support Sustainable system transformation in patient pathway redesign.In partnership with scientific community use AZ evidence to drive change in Guidelines adoption (National, Regional).Coordination with SSAs to ensure a capillarity in the implementation of Practice Change Methodology, both in the hospital environment and in Primary Care.Accompaniment and training to the SSAs in the implementation of the Practice Change Methodology, following the guidelines established by the Medical Excellence & Practice Change Lead.Innovative Solutions implementation: piloting and scalingIn-field support to the HC Innovation Unit in the execution and follow-up of pilots of Innovative Solutions related to AZ products/indications both in a non-commercialization phase or in the commercialization phase if clinically relevant.Responsible for the planification, implementation and follow-up of those Innovative Solutions at a regional and local level:With functional coordination with the HC Innovation Field Lead.In coordination with Commercial, Medical and Access field teams.As a partner in the field for innovation projects:To accelerate time to diagnosis and treatment of patients, and to ensure the best patient experience.To ensure excellence in the execution of the projects and the satisfaction of key Health System stakeholders with projects implemented, the HC Innovation Unit and AstraZeneca.Measurement of the impact of implemented projects through the monitoring and reporting of KPIs.Insights generationTransfer of insights and local/regional knowledge to the HC Innovation Unit and to its hierarchical lead.Mapping and understanding of the Health IT systems and processes to ensure that the Innovative Solutions designed by the HC Innovation Unit are adapted to the reality of each health area.PROFILE REQUIREMENTSMandatoryBachelor's degree in a related field.More than 5 years of relevant work experience with proven impact.Project management skills.Proven experience with Healthcare Transformation initiatives in the public sector or the industry.Understanding of Digital Technologies: IoT, Big Data, AI, Blockchain, etc.English: C1-C2.DesirableExperience in designing or implementing core Innovative Solutions for the HC system.Updated with the latest trends and best practices.Familiar with innovation methodologies: Agile, Service Design, UI/UX practices.FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSInternal RelationsHC Innovation Field Lead.Business, Medical and Access field teams.IDS Tech and Data team.Legal & compliance.External relationsNHS IT leaders.NHS Innovation leaders.Key NHS stakeholders and KEEs.COMPETENCIES (Source: Global Capabilities Framework; Global Academy)Scientific Leadership360º integral vision of the Health System.Scientific knowledge of the product and the therapeutic area.Data-driven decision making (critical thinking).Proactive orientation towards innovation/differentiation and future solutions.Planning & executionBusiness Acumen: science applied to business.Planning skills.Patient Centricity.Results oriented.EngagementNetworking: connection with the medical practice.Interpersonal skills: ability to build trusting and productive relationships (engagement with stakeholders).Self-leadershipCollaborative intelligence and teamwork: internally and with medical practice.Effective communication.Active learning and development.Regulatory and compliance.
