Position: With offices in Milan, London, Paris, Luxembourg, and Madrid, the Financing team offers a broad range of financing products to clients in a multitude of sectors and with a flexible size range, supporting SMEs, blue-chip corporates, and financial sponsors alike to satisfy their financing needs and achieve a suitable capital structure (collaborating also with other divisions of the bank including DCM, ECM, and M&A).
The arranged and underwritten financing solutions are also diversified across the risk spectrum, ranging from investment grade to leveraged transactions and tailor-made structures.
Responsibilities: Assess the creditworthiness of potential counterparties by performing business and sector analysis, peer and financial statements analysis, modelling and sensitivity analysis.Coordinate the efforts of the various departments within the bank such as risk management, syndicate, DCM, and others involved in a given financing transaction.Preparation of pitches and marketing materials to be presented to new potential and existing clients (including proposing new trade ideas).Review, negotiation, and execution of contractual documentation.Produce high-quality and concise proposal memos to be submitted to credit committee and senior management.Proactively participate in the monitoring of the existing portfolio, management of waiver and amendment requests, and early identification of deteriorating credits. Requirements:At least 1 year of Corporate & Investment Banking experience.Ability to prioritize and project manage a range of tasks, attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Fluent in Spanish and English.Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.Aptitude to take responsibility for a task and complete it.Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration from a top-tier Business or Engineering School.
