Reporting to the Chief of Staff, Legal & Trust, you will be part of a small team with responsibility for designing and delivering processes, practices and tools aimed at improving departmental efficiency and effectiveness. In this role you will use your background and prior experience in delivering legal operations projects.The work you'll do:Manage and support strategic and operational initiatives across the legal organisationSupport the development, implementation and ongoing management of processes, practices and tools in support of the Legal functionActively identify where process improvement activities can be deployed for wider business benefitsCollaborate across the Legal team, as well as with cross-functional teams within the Legal and Trust org including IT, Information Security and Sustainability.Support the Chief of Staff, Legal & Trust with reporting on metrics and case studiesSupport outside counsel and supplier management processesExecute operational tasks in support of the Legal function, including organisation and management of Legal department recordsPut processes and systems in place to track legal spend, accruals, and budgets in order to identify cost saving opportunitiesAssist with the analysis, tracking and reporting of team KPIsSupport development of a technology and enablement roadmap that includes solutions such as e-Billing and matter management, contract management, IP management, electronic signature, legal hold, and moreThe qualifications you need:Bachelor's degree or equivalentPrevious experience working within a lean Legal Operations functionClose attention to detail, well-organised and adept at working in a fast-paced, high volume environmentHigh energy, strong communication skills and a positive attitude are criticalConfidence in working and troubleshooting with minimal oversightHigh level of emotional intelligence, cultural awareness and uncompromising ethical standardsAbility to effectively prioritise, escalate appropriately and multi-taskStrong skill set working with office applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Adobe, Docusign and Google WorkspaceExperience of working with Legal Operations tools - Prior exposure to DocuSign CLM and Brightflag an advantageDeveloped business acumen, with ability to understand the company's mission and anticipate changing requirements in a rapidly scaling companyExcellent verbal and written communication skills; business fluency in English required
