We are currently seeking an Interim Legal Officer to provide essential legal support across multiple departments within the organization, covering a long-term absence. Based at our office in El Prat, Barcelona, Spain, this role reports directly to the Senior Legal Manager, EMEA. Our Legal Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and protecting the company's legal interests. By delivering expert legal counsel, the Legal Officer helps maintain smooth operational functions and supports the long-term success of the organization, mitigating legal risks and maintaining the company's legal integrity. Key Responsibilities As our Interim Legal Officer, you will have the opportunity to: • Draft and Review Contracts : Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including distribution and agency agreements, sponsorship and endorsement deals, service logistics agreements, and digital marketing services contracts. • Ensure Corporate Compliance : Ensure corporate compliance with relevant laws and regulations, providing guidance on corporate governance and compliance issues. • Advise on Commercial and Consumer Law : Provide legal advice on matters related to commercial and consumer law, ensuring all activities comply with applicable legal standards. • Protect Data and Privacy Rights : Oversee data protection and privacy policies, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and advising on privacy rights issues. • Manage Litigation : Handle litigation cases, both commercial and labor-related. Represent the company in legal proceedings as needed. • Labor Law Compliance : Advise on labor law issues, ensuring compliance with employment regulations and supporting HR in employee-related legal matters. • Legal Support to All Departments : Provide ongoing legal counsel to the Ecommerce, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, HR, and Product departments, addressing legal concerns and providing strategic legal advice. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Law. • Previous experience in a multinational or corporate environment will be considered as a great asset. • Strong legal knowledge and understanding of relevant laws and regulations. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to quickly shift focus and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency. • Critical legal thinking and problem-solving ability. • Very good communication and writing skills in English and Spanish. • Proficiency in legal research and legal document preparation. • Experience in corporate governance, compliance, and commercial law.
