.Pandora is looking for an experienced new colleague to fill the position of Legal Manager, Spain and Portugal. The position reports to the Director, Deputy General Counsel, EMEA, in Copenhagen, and belongs to a global legal team with colleagues in Denmark, United States, Brazil, France, UK, Italy, Australia, Hong Kong, China, and Thailand. As a legal manager, you will be providing legal advice to all parts of the operation in Spain and Portugal, and working closely with the local management team and key staff functions.WHAT YOU'LL DO: As Legal Manager, you will have a multifaceted practice and support to the business in Spain and Portugal, especially with organizing the legal work and compliance where the majority of the work relates to:Real estate law and commercial leasesConsumer and marketing lawFranchise and distributionEcommercePersonal data complianceCompetition lawM&A activitiesDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractsInvolvement in projects ensuring that material risks are identified as well as offering solutions on how best to manage and mitigate the identified risksImplement and monitor policies and procedures for the general operation of Pandora's legal compliance programManaging disputes and responding to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresProviding reports on legal and compliance matters to the local management and within the global legal team on a regular basisManagement of external legal counsels and budgets for legal spendWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? This role is expected to develop strategic business relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal business leaders and stakeholders, assist with contract negotiations, support cost savings initiatives, and provide legal advice and support on transactions supporting the day-to-day operations.Professional qualifications: Legal background, preferably a mixture of law firm and in-house experience.Minimum 5 years of practical professional experience with a strong background within commercial law.Proven negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills for commercial contracts.Experience within legal project management.Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage multi-faceted projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong business acumen.Very good communication skills in Spanish and English, written and verbal. Portuguese language skills would be preferred, but is not a requirement.Personal qualifications: Sound risk assessment capabilities.Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and resourceful with a focus on servicing the business.Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, work proactively, be resourceful, take on additional responsibility, and prioritize under pressure.Excellent consultative and communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization.Ability to work cross-border.Comfortable interfacing with senior leadership
