DESCRIPTION: Amazon is looking for smart, ambitious individuals for an internship at Amazon's Legal department.

This is a 6 month internship aimed at Law graduates or post-graduate university students with good English skills.

Under the mentorship of corporate counsels the intern will: 1) Prepare first draft of replies to legal queries: analysis of law and case-law and/or follow internal processes applicable to retail activities, consumer rights, customer complaints and product compliance, corporate documentation of local subsidiaries, review of training materials, help pages and blurbs.
2) Assist with complex legal queries, e.g.
by performing research of applicable regulations and existing case law, preparing first draft of legal documents, following up with business (e.g.
by tracking information requested to and sent by the business POCs) when their input is required.
The candidate is expected to join in June 2024.
Please note this is not a summer internship, but a 6-month internship.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Law and/or Business degree or master students - Excellent English and Spanish PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous internships in any legal department would be a plus Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
