Your role will involve overseeing legal matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting the executive team with reliable, strategic legal guidance.You'll apply your understanding of international law and, ideally, some basic accounting knowledge to enhance our operations, working closely with cross-functional leaders and external partners to keep the company aligned with our business goals and regulatory obligations.What you'll doHere's what you can expect to work on:Commercial Agreements: Review and negotiate contracts with international clients and partners to ensure our terms are clear and protective.Legal Compliance: Develop and monitor internal policies to maintain compliance with relevant laws, industry standards, and regulatory bodies such as the Bank of Spain (BdE).Regulatory Reporting: Support interactions with regulators like the Bank of Spain, assist with information requests, and oversee compliance-related reporting.Relationship Building: Establish trusted relationships with external parties, such as regulators, external counsel, and public authorities, to strengthen our position and build goodwill.Contract Drafting: Draft and finalise key legal documents, ensuring they are accurate, protective, and fully aligned with the company's objectives.Legal Education: Offer clear explanations and training on legal terms and policies, making sure the entire team understands our legal framework.Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough research on potential risks related to business decisions, helping us to make sound, strategic choices
