.In this role as Senior Specialist: Payments , you will work for the Payments legal team in Outpayce, the Amadeus Group's Payments business unit. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with customers and partners, providing legal assistance to Outpayce, Amadeus and Amadeus affiliates regarding applicable laws and regulations, and supporting the growth of Outpayce. In this role you will work in different areas, such as: Contract drafting support and legal advice Provide legal and commercial support, including participating in negotiations and drafting commercial contracts, escalating internally where required. Drafting and negotiation of contract amendments and ancillary documents. Analyze and provide advice on executed contracts. Assisting with preparation of executive summaries for complex deals. Analysis of applicable laws and regulations. Flag issues early and coordinate different Amadeus areas and functional streams. Escalate issues as required, brief senior management of risks during course of negotiations to enable senior management to make informed decisions. Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager. Active contract management/post contract support Raise awareness of and ensure adequate visibility is given to post-contract signature obligations. Support document production and work with internal teams to meet deadlines. Ensure communications to customers are aligned with relevant contractual clauses and legal obligations. Participate in and control commercial pipeline requests and manage prioritization of tasks. Development and implementation of legal department policies to ensure 'best practices'. Preparation and maintenance of conformed/consolidated versions of signed agreements. Maintain detailed checklist of contractual obligations. Active coordination and participation in other team tasks/support Coordination between Payments Legal and other Business Units and Legal departments (e.G. Compliance, Audit or Privacy team). Review of marketing and corporate communications documents. Collaborate to improve the Payment Legal Knowledge initiatives. The ideal candidate Holds a University Degree in law. Demonstrates at least 2-3 years of PQE in a top-tier law firm or top-tier in-house role. Well organized, resilient, proactive and able to seek for, gather and consolidate information coming from different sources. Possesses strong experience drafting contracts autonomously. Is easy-going and positive. Smiles are welcomed in our team. Fluent written and spoken English, with professional experience working in English and drafting and negotiating contracts in English. Knowledge of and experience working with English law concepts is an advantage. Spanish is considered a plus, but not required. Knowledge of the Payments industry is a plus, but not required
