We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Counsel to join our Legal Team.
This position offers invaluable hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will have the opportunity to work on significant projects and develop critical legal skills.
You will: Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, partnership agreements, and NDAs.
Gaming and Licensing Agreements: Review gaming service agreements and licensing agreements, ensuring compliance and reporting any significant findings or risks to the Head of Legal & Compliance.
Negotiations: Negotiate contracts with game providers, B2B platforms, and B2C operators to ensure favorable terms and compliance with industry regulations.
Legal Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks, providing proactive advice on potential issues related to contracts, compliance, and corporate governance.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant local, national, and international laws, particularly in relation to data protection, employment law, iGaming regulations, and intellectual property together with the Compliance Team.
Legal Expertise in iGaming: Stay up to date with legal issues and regulatory changes in the iGaming sector, and ensure any updates are integrated into company procedures and workflows.
Dispute Resolution: Manage disputes and litigation matters, representing the company in legal proceedings or coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
Policy Development: Assist in the creation and revision of internal policies to ensure legal compliance across departments.
Training: Provide training to internal teams on legal topics, including compliance with data protection regulations, contract management, and other relevant legal matters.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
3+ years of experience in corporate law, contract law, or a similar role in-house or at a law firm.
Strong understanding of data protection laws (e.G., GDPR), intellectual property law, and corporate governance.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
