In this role your responsibilities will amongst others be: Key Responsibilities To execute legal activities of medium complexity and give company-wide sound legal advice/counsel/recommendations in order to support SWIFT activities and ensure compliance with legal requirements. To undertake specific legal studies, investigate and propose guidelines so as to minimise company exposure. To draft/review/recommend company contracts / to participate in negotiations / to recommend amendments to contracts worldwide for customers/suppliers/development projects/network/etc. To ensure regular update of the company contracts database in order to provide management and staff with an efficient tool for the follow-up of company contracts. To organise direct claims procedures and internal actions to be undertaken in order to maximise services. To liaise with management and staff and with customers/suppliers/lawyers/public administrations/etc. To undertake administrative tasks within the department and to be an effective back-up for colleagues. To maintain/develop own understanding of evolutions in relevant areas of the law including commercial and competition laws, licensing issues and telecommunication matters to identify potential impact on SWIFT operations. To coach less experienced colleagues. Lead risk assessments, take responsibility for a selection of controls, report on control status, and detect points of control failure.
