As part of this position, you will evolve in an innovative and dynamic environment. You will report directly to the Lead Counsel for the Region (South Europe and Africa - "SE&A") and belong to the SE&A Legal Team.The objective of this position within the organization is to protect and optimize all the legal interests relating to the business activities conducted by Siemens Gamesa ("SGRE", the Wind business unit within the Siemens Energy group) across SE&A Region, by providing legal advice to the operational teams and by managing and reducing legal risks.Forming part of the SE&A Legal Team, the main functions of the position will be:- Providing legal advice to business partners on all key legal issues to prevent or reduce legal risks and provide them with pro-active support.- Preparing and participating in the review, negotiation with end customers, and drafting of commercial contracts, in particular wind turbine generator supply and related services agreements, EPC agreements, operation and maintenance agreements (both new contracts and renewals thereof), agreements for the purchase of components, indirect materials, and provision of services.- Providing advice on contractual and legal issues arising during the execution of wind projects and also during the maintenance phase of the wind projects.- Providing support during negotiations with providers and assess the potential opportunities, impacts, and risks of the outcome of such negotiations.- Provide general legal advice to business partners and translating the legal topics into an understandable language.- Assisting in the improvement of existing contractual templates and in the creation of new ones.- Ensuring compliance with the group's evolving policies and guidelines.- Intervening in the resolution of claims, controversies, and eventual disputes and in the subsequent phases with clients and suppliers providing an additional value to the final outcome of the discussions, with the support and guidance of in-house Litigation experts.- Participating and actively collaborating with legal teams and experts from other regions in cross-border transactions and contracts (including, without limitation, industrial and intellectual property related matters, technology license agreements, or build-to-print schemes).- Providing support on M&A activities within the organization
