As a member of the legal team, you will work within the Corporate/ M&A team, reporting directly to the Lead Counsel. This is a role that will require autonomy, attention to detail and drive. You will familiarise yourself closely with Fever's mission and vision, structure, strategy, and objectives, and advise on a variety of corporate transactions, particularly joint ventures and co-investments, to support the growth of the business, all within a fast-paced company, which is both scaling up and expanding internationally. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team that is a cornerstone to the effective realization of key projects of the company, working directly with business dealmakers, to bring them to fruition and ensure alignment with Fever's overall strategy and risk appetite. You will be required to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members within the legal department and across the Fever business. You will be expected to work across different jurisdictions, leveraging your legal background, with ownership of projects assigned to you. Your responsibilities will include:Drafting and reviewing joint venture and co-investment agreements and ancillary transactional documentsProviding support to business teams and Management in their negotiations, from the initial analysis to the execution of any transactionCoordinating and prioritizing work with external legal advisors Preparing / revising internal templates, guides, and similar knowledge management documents, and taking responsibility for document managementAssisting with general corporate governance for the entire Fever groupParticipating in ongoing compliance functions as required Prioritise your and others' workParticipate in the upskilling, support and growth of other team membersABOUT YOUIn order to be successful in this role, you willBe a barred / practising lawyer (corporate or law firm) with at least 4 years of experience in corporate transactions, preferably including M&ASpeak fluent English, with a command of legal English, and with fluency in another language (especially French, Portuguese, German)Have an excellent academic record or experience in top-notch companies or top-tier law-firmsHave keen attention to detail and strong financial and commercial awarenessPossess strong technical skills and enjoy stepping into new territory with your workBe an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to workYou can expect to join a lovely team of diverse, hardworking and kind professionals, where a cultural fit is someone looking to have an impact and work nimbly.
