If you're ready to take on new challenges and grow with us, we want to hear from you!As Junior Counsel supporting mainly theFrench-speakingcountries in Europe reporting directly to the Lead Counsel for DACH, FR & IT.
This role will require proactivity, autonomy, and drive.
You will be involved in day-to-day legal support to the region, advice on corporate and operationally relevant matters to support the growth of the company, with a focus on the French-speaking countries, draft and help commercial teams negotiate commercial agreements to support exciting productions and partnerships, all within a fast-paced company undergoing an ambitious regional expansion.You will have the opportunity to work in multiple areas of the law and be required to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members within and outside the department.
You will be expected to work in the following areas inFrench-speakingcountries (and provide additional support in similar tasks to other jurisdictions around the world):Learning about legislation and jurisdictions in French-speaking countries for the matters entrusted to youDrafting / revising key commercial contracts, terms and conditions, and similar legal documentsProviding support to business teams in their negotiations of deals and contracts you are involved inAdvising on general legal matters related to the French-speaking market and our product fit and compliance within themAssist the dispute resolution team in matters in the French-speaking market, to help them achieve practical, win-win resultsAdvice on engagement of, and coordinate and prioritize work of external legal advisorsAssist and participate in knowledge management, including preparing /revising internal templates, guides, and similar documentsParticipate in ongoing compliance functions and product advice as requiredPrioritize your and others' workABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you will:Be a barred/practicing lawyer, with2+ yearsof PQE in the legal field (corporate or law firm)Have academic legal training in aFrenchjurisdiction, and +2 PQE working with the regionNative French speaker, with a command of legal English (fluency in another language is a plus)Have an excellent academic record and/or experience in top-notch companies or top-tier law firmsHave a keen eye for strategy and business, and be committed to company goalsPossess strong technical skillsBe an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to workYou can expect to join a lovely team of diverse, hardworking, and kind professionals, where a cultural fit is someone looking to have an impact and work nimbly.
