ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven and ambitious lawyer to join our diverse In-House Legal Team, supporting our operations across the Asia-Pacific region. If you're a young professional seeking to elevate your career at a fast-growing, tech-driven entertainment company, we'd love to hear from you!
As Legal Counsel supporting the APAC region, you will provide general commercial support to and play a critical role in the execution of our business strategy in the region, working closely with regional leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to broaden their legal expertise and take ownership of important legal projects in an international setting. You'll have the chance to provide generalist legal support across the APAC region and grow your knowledge of local markets while contributing to Fever's mission, vision, and ambitious growth.
You will be expected to execute the following for your region:
Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, terms and conditions
Provide legal support to regional business teams and senior management
Research legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance
Provide corporate management support in the region, including for corporate expansion
Stay up to date on relevant legislative and jurisprudence developments in APAC
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to prioritize and manage legal matters
Manage knowledge and documents, including the preparation and revision of templates and legal guides
Participate in ongoing corporate compliance functions
Upskill, support, and grow other team members
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
Be a practising lawyer with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
Professional fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in an additional language a strong plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence
Experience working on international projects or with global teams
A team player who is adaptable and eager to learn
