Redstone Legal, Risk & Compliance Search is working with a European payment institution who is looking for a Legal & Compliance Manager to set up a new desk in Spain.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks Point of contact for all Spanish legal and compliance matters.
Control regulations reporting and be the local representative for regulators and external third parties.
Assist in opening accounts for clients, providing help and responding to queries.
Manage risk responsibilities, reporting and mitigating potential exposures.
Role reports into CEO based in Luxembourg.
Key Qualifications / Experience 5+ years' experience in financial legal or compliance (AML) positions within financial institutions.
Strong knowledge of local and European legal regulations.
Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory; fluency in French is advantageous.
Must have a driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
