We're establishing three Legal Powerhouses in Bangalore, Mexico City and Barcelona, which will be an integral part of the Legal Function and provide defined, structured services to our other lawyers and to the wider business.Where this position fits into the teamPart of the Unilever Legal Powerhouse - a team we're currently building, which will consist of around 10 colleagues in BarcelonaIntegral part of Unilever's Legal Function - a global operation consisting of approximately 400 lawyers and specialistsYour Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting one of our 5 Global Business Groups (Nutrition, Ice Cream, Homecare, Personal Care and Beauty & Wellbeing) Legal TeamsConducting legal research and analysisSupport to the teams in relation to monitoring of emerging regulationsDrafting legal documentsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date records and filesSupport departmental records/data management and retention efforts using internal technology resourcesMonitoring of lawsuits and administrative proceduresSupport to the teams in relation to control of cases, deadlines and documentationSubmission of documents to the official entitiesSupporting the management and administration of contractsSimplification and innovation; supporting innovation and use of technology to simplify and improve the provision of legal servicesEngaging with and supporting other lawyers across the globeGeneral administrative and office support as neededSkills and ExperienceLaw degreePQE of 1-3 years of experience practicing law in a law firm or corporate legal department.Strong communication skillsWillingness and drive for process excellenceThe ability to work independently and cross-functionally under pressureCapable with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint - including the creation of graphical presentationsStrong communication skills in English language
