Your mission:
You will be responsible for providing pragmatic, business-oriented, and cost-effective legal support to PepsiCo South West Europe on corporate-related matters, as well as on Sales and Distribution, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Procurement, and other general legal matters relevant to the business aiming to ensure the protection of PepsiCo's rights and interests, understanding and driving the business objectives while minimizing the risks of the company without slowing the pace of the business.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day with us includes:
Management of corporate legal-related matters for approximately 20 legal entities (Spain, Portugal, and Italy).Occasionally, M&A projects.Commercial law, with a special focus on sales and distribution, operations, and procurement.Competition law-related aspects as part of legal assessment in these areas.Commercial contracts: drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of a broad variety of agreements necessary for the company's activity.Close legal support to internal clients regarding all kinds of related legal consultations, legal risk assessment, and mitigation.Litigation: prevention or mitigation of litigious situations with distributors, customers, and suppliers.Management of pre-litigation situations and litigation coordination (administrative or judicial matters).Labour-related matters: legal support to prevent/mitigate labour-related risks in our relationships with distributors and suppliers.Legal risk assessment in coordination with HR and external labour counsels, and support to labour litigation cases where required.Provide legal support on relevant strategic projects for the business, especially in sales and distribution as well as manufacturing/operations (including sustainability-related projects).Legal support in relation to co-packers, co-manufacturers, review and negotiation of legal documents and commercial contracts.Legal support and strategy to manage conflicts with suppliers.Responsible for developing and delivering legal trainings on relevant topics to internal clients where advisable or required. Qualifications
What will you need to succeed?
Minimum 6 years of experience in a multinational law firm and/or FMCG company.Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (Portuguese and Italian basic to medium knowledge is highly valued).Overall broad and high-quality legal knowledge, specifically in commercial law, with a special focus on sales and distribution, operations, and procurement.Excellent analytical and drafting skills, attention to detail, provision of pragmatic solutions, and ability to understand complex situations.Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines across a wide range of areas.Strong interpersonal skills enabling efficient collaboration with other Legal team members and cross-functional teams.
