Legal Assistant

Job ResponsibilitiesDocument Drafting and Management - Prepare and review legal documents related to commercial transactions and taxation matters.- Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents.Client Communication - Assist in scheduling meetings and appointments with clients.Legal Research and Analysis: - Conduct legal research on commercial law and taxation issues.- Summarize findings and provide relevant information to legal professionals.Administrative Support: - Manage legal professionals' calendars, including scheduling meetings and court appearances.- Handle incoming calls and correspondence related to commercial law and taxation matters.Tax Filings and Compliance: - Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax documents.- Monitor and track deadlines for tax-related matters.Case Management: - Maintain case files for commercial law and taxation cases.- Coordinate with legal professionals to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Job Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in legal studies, business, or related field.- Previous experience as a legal assistant with a focus on commercial law and taxation.- Strong understanding of commercial law and taxation principles.- Proficient in legal research and document preparation.- Excellent organizational and communication skills.- With or without Paralegal certification.
